Early Season Special - $300 for 1 or 2 anglers - February 15 - April 15
This is a trip for 1 or 2 and includes: 6 to 7 hours on the water, lunches, beverages, rods, leaders, tippets, flies and expert on the water instruction. We typically nymph in February, using Skwala patterns, San Juan worms and an assortment of smaller nymphs. By late February or early March we nymph until 1 PM or so and then switch to dry flies. Skwala stoneflies typically emerge from late February or early March through mid April, BWOs from late February through April and March Browns from late March through early May. The Skwala hatch is the centerpiece of early season dry fly fishing on the Yakima and typically produces more and bigger fish, but the BWO and March Brown emergences can be very good.
