River Levels  Hatch Chart  Caddis  Mayflies  Stoneflies

Reports are posted as frequently as time and changing conditions dictate.   We concentrate on the river from  Gladmar to Roza, which generally has the largest and most consistent hatches and most consistent fishing.  So our reports are heavily weighted towards this stretch.

5/6/08   The Yakima is up and off color due to warm weather.  Poor fishing.   Should be O.K. after the river drops for a few days.

4/29/08   The Yak is on the rise.  Color is still good, but fishing has been poor.

4/15/08   Off color from the Teanaway down.  Conditions may not be good above the Teanaway, due to releases from Easton Reservoir this morning.

3/24/08   The Yakima is in great shape, although water temps are a little cold for the time of year.  BWOs are emerging in fishable numbers and Skwala are still on the water.  Not many March Browns yet.

3/11/08   A few Skwalas.  Decent Dry Skwala fishing.  The Yak is on the rise, but color was good yesterday.   Not many BWOs yet.
